TRY TO GET THE CAST IRON COOKWARE SANITIZED EVEN FURTHER :

1.  SCOUR WITH SALT, AND THE CHAIN MAIL-LIKE SCRUBBING DEVICES.

2.  RINSE IN WARM WATER.

3.  GET WATER BOILING IN IT FOR A HIGH BOIL, FOR AN HOUR, TO FOUR HOURS.

4.  THEN, RINSE, AND RE-OIL IT WITH COOKING/BAKING OIL, TO PREVENT RUST.

5.  RE-SEASON IT, BY COATING IT COMPLETELY IN BAKING/COOKING OIL, PLACED UPSIDE DOWN, IN THE OVEN, ON A COOKIE SHEET, WITH ALUMINUM FOIL/SILICON BAKEWARE MAT, AT 350 DEGREES, FAHRENHEIT, FOR AN HOUR, TO TWO HOURS.
